Hello everyone, my name is Brett.

I moved to New Jersey Jersey Alaska for a job in a powerplant. I work 12 hour days, 5-6 days a week. I rented my house in Alaska to my sister and I'm renting a 1 bedroom apartment for $895 right now. I'm tired of this life and I want my financial freedom and my time for myself. Since my job is here, I have to settle to start my investing in and around my job. Im looking at south central Jersey and Philadelphia. I'm thinking I can get a home equity loan on my house and use $10,000 from savings, but maybe theres another way to start this without using too much money up front. I also don't know what town is good for looking for deals and good tenants. I hope to hear some ideas and advice, thank very much!
