Hi all! My name is Carlos and I live in the Cambridge/Boston area. I'm a recent MIT graduate working in technology and have always been very interested in real estate and personal finance (gotta get out of the rat race!). I started listening to BiggerPockets a year or so ago, and finally built up the nerve to take that next and join the community.

I've learned a fair amount of real estate from the BiggerPockets podcasts and some independent research, but my actual experience is limited/non-existent. My goal is to eventually build up a sizeable portfolio that generates some good passive income. Given that the Boston/Cambridge real estate market is fairly expensive, I'm highly considering looking into remote properties.
