(previously risk averse) noob here from Georgia!

Hi Bigger Pockets members!

My name is Lola, and I am in the beginning stages of real estate investing. I have some excess cash that I've been sitting on for a while due to being very risk averse but have decided that no risk, no reward. Trying to decide whether to get into 1 or 2 single-family homes or multilevel homes (duplex/triplex) and also trying to narrow down locations - currently looking at Atlanta, GA (and surrounding suburbs), Houston TX, Dallas/Forth Worth TX and Tallahassee FL.

I look forward to connecting with people with the same passion for real estate, and using Bigger Pockets as a great resource for knowledge!

Anyone in Atlanta GA? Hi! :)

@Lola Og do you plan on BRRRR or just a simple purchase instead? New Western has properties they send out. Some are pretty good...others overpriced based on area and return. Always go back to the calculators on BP. Those are the most amazing tools.

Craigslist also offers some pretty good deals in your price range.
