Hi Everyone,

My name is Derek Lusk and I've been reading this forum for quite some time while I ramp up my REI business. I have been a mortgage lender in the Chicagoland area for the past 4 years and also have an MBA and research at Indiana University. I hope that I can contribute by answering any questions related to business or lending.

My REI business is focused on foreclosures, preforeclosures, and bank owned properties. I think I have a solid business plan put together, but there is so much to learn. I need all of the help that I can get and this site has been great thus far!

Besides working full-time and owning a business, I am on a board of directors, enjoy academic research, play in a men's hockey league, and have traveled a good portion of the world.
