Looking for a RE networking in Asheville, NC...

My wife and I just relocated from ND down to western NC (AVL). I'm a licensed landscape architect (PLA) and my wife is a medical professional. Our careers and (3) happy & healthy kids keep us busy.  I'm interested in creating passive by investing in RE, but am looking for advice on how to do it in the HOT HOT Asheville market. I'm not sure (yet!) if we will be focusing on flipping or looking for long term rental properties. I've been reading this forum and listening to the podcast for some time now and find it very helpful and supportive. Anyone out here in Asheville who would like to meet up and talk about the local market and how I can get started?  I'm in Montford neighborhood. Coffee? Is there a local real estate investing group who gets together here?  FWIW, I feel that i'm very skilled @ design and this is the easy part for me. I'm also very handy with the trades and managing contractors. I very much enjoy negotiating deals and collaborating with others. thanks in advance for any insight you can offer!
