Hi BiggerPockets!

I have been interested in real estate for some time now. Last year my wife bought me Brandon Turner’s book, The Book on Rental Property Investing. That’s how I worked up the courage to make my first purchase and how I found BiggerPockets.

I live in Layton Ut. My first purchase is a townhome, 3 bedroom 2.5 bath. We used conventional financing and are living in it for a year as this allowed us to put less down up front. Come November 2018 we will be able to move out and start renting. So we are ramping up to make our next purchase hopefully in the next 6 months.

My goal is to at least supplement my retirement with rental properties, but would love to be able to someday get into investing full time and stop working for the man. I am very interested in learning about house flipping as well thanks to the BP podcast.

Looking forward to networking with other investors and get my business off the ground!
