Starting off with $50k! What would you do?
I'm selling my home to paying debt and start investing in rental properties. I'm looking to walk away with truly $180k. How should I start off? Multiple units or pay cash for one?

I agree look for a 2-4 unit mf. I'd put down the least amount you can and fix it up to get appreciation. At the same time I'd be looking for more rental properties. Preferably mf. But nothing wrong with SFR either.
Good luck!
