Hello All, I am a newbie to real estate investing and need guidance on where to start. I currently live in the SF Bay Area and already own one rental in the Bay Area. I have just inherited another sfh that Is free and clear. I would like to add to my rental profolio and I was thinking of taking out a heloc on the rental that is already free and clear. However, living in the Bay Area where prices are substantially high, it’s hard to find a deal. I am not looking for a quick dollar and my long term goal is to buy and hold, and leverage rentals to purchase more. Wanted to get others feedback on investing out of state, or just general guidance on how I should approach my strategy. I’ve been educating myself a lot lately and I feel like I am ready to make a move. Thanks so much!
