I am from Pittsburgh PA and I'm looking for some guidance in my real estate investing journey. I am brand new to the field with no previous experience. I'm 26 years old with a full time job and want to start investing on the side until I grow my portfolio and profIts enough to be able to Invest full time. I have been watching many YouTube videos and podcasts about real estate investing. My goal is to accomplish this In 10 years or less. I have been doing some market analysis in my area along wIth a lot of research in the field. I am going to pursue my first deal soon. It's a unique situation that definitely has some upside. I'm looking to build a network and gather as much knowledge as possible to become as successful as possible.

Hi @David Hollenberger,

Welcome! That is a nice goal.  One thing you can definitely do (if you are not doing already) is to go to open houses in the area(s) you want to buy in and to get really good market knowledge of what different neighborhoods are like and what properties are selling/renting for.
