Newbie from SoCal interested in networking and learning!
Hello everyone from BP! My name is Gina and I'm in sunny SoCal (Los Angeles area). I'm am very new to real estate. I am currently taking my RE classes online to get better educated in this field. I also recently attended the Than Merrill real estate class and it opened my eyes to the investment side where I wouldnt actually need my RE license. Still interested in obtaining it anyway, but this way allows me to dive in a bit sooner per say. This would initially start as a part time thing until I feel more comfortable with the ins and outs of it. I currently run my families autobody shop so I am definitely used to putting in some long hours to get me closer to my goals! Financial freedom is what its all about and I will work hard to help my family achieve it. I look forward to networking on here and especially connecting with some locals.

Hello Dan,
I'd like to learn more about distressed homes and obtaining funding to flip them. Unfortunately a neighbor of mine recently lost their home because of a reverse mortgage but I am unsure if this scenario could be helped.
I'm actually looking to invest outside of CA as well. Nevada, Arizona, Texas to name a few. I am super new so I also want to learn how to research the best areas to do this in. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to respond!
