Need Advice for the Future

Hello Bigger Pockets,

I’m a 17 year old student in my last year of highschool and want to start investing when I turn 18 next June. I don’t believe that college is right for me personally since, I’ve never really enjoyed school. I really enjoy learning about different methods to obtain wealth and real estate seems like something I would like to do coming straight out of high school. I currently live in New York but, don’t  plan on purchasing a property here. I need a change of location that allows me the ability to trade stocks legally at the age of 18. New Jersey is where I would like to purchase my first property however, I’m not too familiar with the market. I have been able to save up about $50,000 and counting and plan to house hack once I graduate from high school. I just wanted to know if this is possible even though I’m really young. I’ve watched some BiggerPockets podcasts on house hacking but, need a little more clarification on whether or not this is something I should pursue at an early age. Any advice on my current situation is appreciated.
