Have Goals and Moving Toward Planning

Hello Bigger Pockets members. My story is long and I can be long winded so I will speak with as much brevity as my willpower will allow.

This is the first I am appearing on the BP forums. The podcasts, which led me here, have sat on my docket for some time before I got into them because real-estate investing has always seemed intimidating to me primarily because of the big numbers involved. My interest (seriously no pun intended here) has been quite piqued after listening to many episodes and reading a couple of books on the subject matter.

I have an established goal and an opaque plan. However, for the plan to inch forward to action I need more information. So I am on BP seeking the information to embolden the lines of that previously mentioned plan.

From lurking through some posts and listening to the podcast I can tell there are some really passionate people hanging around and I find that quite exciting and I can't wait to get involved and talking with those who have and share those passions. \

I am in the Seattle region. I wouldn't say I am in the Seattle "market" because I don't know how wide that net is cast, but I am thirty miles north of Seattle. I do drive all around King and Snohomish County per my day job, so I get to see a lot of the neighborhoods around the region. I'd love to find a meet up to attend if there is one going on at some point. 

I am looking forward to mingling and chatting with you all.
