Greetings! My name is Will Price and here's a crack at a quick intro...

My wife and I have been living in Oceanside/Carlsbad CA for the last year.  Prior to moving down to San Diego county, we both played professional indoor volleyball (which is an actual job, believe it or not) overseas and with the US National Team.  We'd spend 7-8 months playing for a team  abroad, come home and play more volley in Anaheim, CA for USAV.  She tapped out after a couple of seasons, but I lasted 8 years and was fortunate enough to have played in China, Qatar, Italy, Greece, France and 3 seasons in Istanbul.

So now we're putting down our roots in SD (she works in Irvine, for a sports technology company, I work in La Jolla for a small asset management firm) and are looking to put some of our hard-earned capital to work in the real estate market.  I'm interested in connecting with pretty much anyone in the San Diego area, or active out of state investors who are investing in single family & small multi-family long-term rentals in markets that make more sense than Southern California.  I don't know all that much (only about 2/3 of the way through the "20 real estate books you must read!" list on here) but I'm eager to learn.

I finally decided to stop spending my time looking at foreclosures I'm not prepared to buy in markets where I don't have any contacts and start communicating with people on the forums.

Looking forward to hopefully building some friendships through this next chapter in our lives, and Happy Friday everyone!
