New here. My name is Stephen and my wife Bethany (who is currently working on her real estate license) are investors from Southern California, Calimesa area. We stumbled into a rental property here in Ca by accident in 2011 when I was transferred with work (State Agency) and we were unable to sell our primary home then and decided to keep it as a rental. We didn’t know about Bigger Pockets at the time and learned by trial and error with a few bumps along the way. We are looking to build and expand our Pro folio with out of state buy and hold properties. We have been looking at and researching multiple out of state markets in Ohio, Wisconsin, Alabama and a few other areas. We’re sure we’ll have plenty of questions as we go and look forward to sharing our experiences and the knowledge we’ve learned along the way with our rental property. We both listen to the Bigger Pockets podcast and have been reading trough all the books we can find on rental investment/ out of state investing. We really look forward to networking with and building working relationship with other Bigger Pocket members.
