Newbie from Puyallup, WA

Hi everyone!

My name is Jason Sawicki and I am so excited to be a part of the BiggerPockets community! I live with my wife and 2.5 children (there's one in development!) in Puyallup, WA - a cozy city located about 30 miles south of Seattle. I'm 38 and I've worked for a great company the past 15 years. Though as much as I enjoy my work, I don't want to have a 'job' for the rest of my life. I don't want to have to always be trading my time for money. We live life just once and I owe it to myself and my family to leverage money smarter to eventually be able to retire from my job to continue full time with a real estate investing business, a legacy that can be passed down through the generations. 

Well, like most, that's why I'm here ... to realize the ever elusive dream of a better life with financial and time freedom. 

My 2018 Goals

• Purchase 1 rental investment before Dec 31
• Join/create a BP in-person investment meetup group in the area

I look forward to meeting fellow members and learning and of course - making deals!
