Hi, my name is Matthew and I'm just getting into real estate investing. I have been a commercial real estate appraiser for the past 2.5 years, and I am currently looking for a new job.

My short term goal is to get a few deals done, most likely wholesaling. I would like to get into rehabbing and flipping to get some more cash, and eventually to buy and hold in residential, multi-family, and eventually commercial properties.

I have spent the last 4 months reading real estate blogs and books, and have a general understanding of how the investing world works. I have made it to one REI-club meeting, and am planning on attending another next week.

My only problem is that I don't have any money to invest with. At all. So my current plans are to continue learning while I save enough money to make a few small deals happen and can build my team. If anyone has other advice, that would be great. I am also looking for other investors in the KC area to network with.
