Hello BP Friends!

I am a teacher from the Buffalo, NY area who recently found a love of all things real estate. I got into the business through my husband, who runs a small construction company that specializes in flips and rehab homes. I recently sold my first "for sale by owner" and enjoyed the work so much that I am in the process of pursuing my real estate license. We currently own 1 rental property downtown and have goals to expand in that area as well. Our current goal/focus, however, is getting our first project with our own capital off the ground. Although we have been in the flipping business for about 2 years, we were partnered with multiple investment groups, who we did the construction and project management end of things for. After lots of hard work, learning curves, research, and BP podcasts of course, we are in a position to do the projects we love on our own. We have explored auctions and done our due diligence but I would love to use the BP community to make some solid connections in the WNY area and learn some other ways you all find inventory for flips! Looking forward to crushing our goals as a community and hearing from you all!
