Hi everyone! New kid on the block here from Portland, Oregon. 

My brother and I have been listening to the BP podcasts for a little while and are just starting out in RE. I'm born and raised in the Portland, OR area and am interested in exploring single and multi-family investment properties. I recently purchased my first home with my wife and am looking forward to finding our next deal, which I hope to find in the greater Portland area.

I was born in Portland & have lived the Portland area for 32 years! There seems to be a lot of competition in the area right now for deals. Although it has been getting harder to snag a deal at the auctions, there are other strategies that seem to work well here. I've heard many people recommend the meetup group. I've only been once but the leaders definitely know their stuff.
