Refinance, The BRRRR Stragety
Hello everyone,
My name is Hunter Kraklio and I'm nineteen years old. Currently, I'll be attending Penn State Wilkes Barre, while going for an Electrical Engineers Degree ( 4 years). However, instead of living at the campus, I'll be commuting/ living with my parents to try and save as much money as possible.
I forgot the exact time when I started getting into the idea of Real Estate, however I found Bigger Pockets around a year ago. I was absolutely thrilled about it, this site contains vast amounts of information while staying free! I love to listen to Bigger Pocket podcasts with Josh and Brandon, I'm also getting into watching Matt's Derosa Group's videos as well (amazing information). I guess the reason I'm writing this is to finally get into talking with this amazing community, I believe this will be a baby step on my dream of making a name of myself.
I really want to get into apartment complexes because I want to physically create something that a large group of people can enjoy together (just like a family). I guess I want to say is that instead of Real Estate being my product, the intent to make people feel like a community is my end goal with this. However, I will say that I would being lying if I wasn't in it for the money, I want to create my own desires.
So, in the end I'm hoping to get a duplex-fourplex (house hack it) after college, to hopefully gain experience on land lording and rehabbing. I may also try and get into wholesaling (when I gain more inform about it) during my time in college to gain saving for my plans after college.
However, I was thinking on trying the BRRRR strategy, I'm ok with everything except the refinance part. If someone could go into great detail on how to do it and how it works that'll be awesome.
Sincerely,
Hunter Kraklio
