Hey there. I've been a bay area native my whole life, and Looking to get into Real Estate investing as a supplemental job and to "hack" my way into a house of my own. I work odd hours, 3 days a week as a full-time Registered Nurse in an ICU. The rest of my time has been researching Real Estate. Admittedly, my knowledge base is limited, but I've been reading some intro books, lurking on the forums, and listening to podcasts.

Ideally, I would love to move into a duplex/triplex/multifamily home in the east bay that I could live in as well. I wouldn't mind a place that needs rehab, as I have the time to work on it. I'm in need of a recommended Real Estate agent and all the help I can get!

So happy to have joined this community, and I look forward to contributing in the future.

@Adam Raty Welcome to BP! As part of your research, I recommend that you check out some local meetups. There are tons, all over the Bay Area. There a several that I frequent and I find them to be quite informative and the fellow attendees are friendly and helpful. Check meetup.com as well as the events section here on BP.

Happy investing!
