What’s going on everyone? My name is Dylan and I am recently getting into real estate investing. I have been checking out bigger pockets for a few months now due to a suggestion from a fellow coworker but this is my first posting.

My background in real estate investing is pretty short; I actually halfway stumbled into being a landlord recently when I rented a house I bought a few years ago for personal use because I moved out of Mississippi for work and have not been back for over a year. Then, earlier this month I managed to pick up another SFR from a wholesaler in Mississippi with a quit claim deed due to owed taxes for $10k + $7k in taxes. The place needs some cleaning up, carpet and paint but overall is an easy fix. The plan is to BRRRR the place and look for another house in the area to hopefully continue repeating for a while.

I look forward to asking a ton of questions and hopefully helping answer some as I get a solid grasp on the different tactics and techniques I’ll be using to buy and rent houses.

Pat, the houses I have are both in Meridian.

After buying my first house while I was working in Meridian I got to know the area pretty well, so when I started looking for another property I figured Meridian wasn’t a bad place to have another rental.
