Is this method ever used when Building a home ?

Do people ever just want to strictly investment SFR New Constitution I was a Managing Broker who acquired Land and smaller parcels that could be developed into small 10 Home communities as well as tear downs for custom Home Builders as well as a National Builder whose smaller division handled tear downs and or high end Flips. My Husband has been building Homes for twenty years. He started out as the assistant manager of trim and became the VP of Operations for a well known National I have identified several small lots and a few larger pieces the value is mind blowing. I am getting so frustrated trying to figure out how I can h purchase the land, and have my husband develop the lot, subdivide one piece and build Homes. There are several areas I am constantly checking. Every lot I have saved to show him is literally under contract with in days I unfortunately was diagnosed with Lyme Disease the Medical Costs outrageous. Are there investors that are willing to just make a return on their money?
