New to real estate - Nor. Cal

Hello BP community. I am new to RE investing and have been following the BP forums and reading/listening to the content for some time. Great stuff! I am finally writing my first post as I realize I need to take action and start meeting new people and building my network. I am in Northern California (South Bay area) and looking at buy/hold investments for passive income (and moving towards financial freedom). I am looking to start out with SFR or small Multi family investing (possibly Turn-keys). Given the CA market, I am thinking about looking out of state, Midwest or Texas. but open to different areas and possibilities. I am willing to help out however I can (with my limited knowledge) so that I can add what ever value possible to learn and grow in real estate investing. Thanks all for your time. Look forward to corresponding.
