New Investors in Alabama - South Alabama & Bessemer

Hi, y'all! We are new to investing. I (Joann) am studying for the RE agent exam. My son (Dave, age 21) and I are looking to get started in Wholesaling. My husband (Bud - see pic for his alter ego! LOL) and other sons and sons-in-law and daughters are interested in fix and flips. Bud, Dave and I have been doing a lot of reading, a couple seminars (Fortune Builders 3-day and Cody Sperber's Fast Track) and have learned probably enough to do something even if it's the wrong thing! I've always been pretty good at predicting investments we should have made and hope that when we really make investments that trend continues at least sometimes!  We live in south Alabama - in the west edge of the Wiregrass but work part of the year in Bessemer, AL.  Looking forward to getting to know some of y'all on these forums, having fun, helping folks solve their property problems and making money$$!
