Hello Bigger Pockets members,

My name is Marvin and I currently live in Baldwin Park, CA and work as a Civil Engineer in Riverside, CA. I am a newbie to Real Estate investing and hoping to obtain my first property by the end of the year. My main goal in real estate is to obtain consistent cash flow in order to have financial freedom through long term rental properties. I am leaning towards multifamily homes in Los Angeles county or Inland Empire area. However, would eventually like to get into investing out of state as well. 

I am eagerly looking for educational seminars and networking events in order to expand my knowledge before fully jumping on board into the Real Estate Investment world.

@Joel Espinoza Thank you for the welcome. That's great to hear. I am hoping to start off with a duplex or triplex sometime in the near future. Looking to move out towards chino/ontario area closer to work. I am currently in Baldwin Park so I am pretty close to you.
