Hello everyone,

My wife and I are new to real estate investing, and are very excited about jumping into the forums. We are currently looking at small multi-family, single family, and townhouses in Anchorage Alaska. Should be moving within the next 2 - 3 years and want to have an established property rented by that time. I would love to get up with someone around Anchorage for a meet up or even organize a BP meet up locally.

Brent

Welcome Brent and wife whose name was not mentioned! I too am a small time investor. Own 3 4 plexes and I manage around 40ish apartments too as a side job, I know...side job... I still have a full time job. Would love to meet up sometime. I am an agent, but I dont buy/sell houses although I could point u in the direction of some good realtor investors, lenders, etc. Having the worst time with contractors though so if you have those let me know haha.

There are a couple meetups that run around here. REX (real estate exchange) is a mix of all things real estate. They seem to do a lot more with flips, small multifamilies etc.

Landlords Almanac is hosted by Real Property Managment and is more geared towards long term buy and hold investors.

Shoot me an email of yall want to meet up sometime. I'll do what I can for ya.
