Real Estate virgin! Looking to learn from others

Hello, I am a real estate virgin. I’ve been renting a couple homes for the past 10 years In order to have my kids in a good school district. I run a small business currently but I’m looking to get into the real estate investing game. My wife is a RN but has had to take an administrative position due to health reasons. We have always thought about creating additional income/wealth together, the time is now and we believe real estate investment could be the path to our goal! I am in the metro Atlanta area and have a lot of customers that seem to know something is brewing in the city. Conversation about up and coming areas near the city are not hard to find. If anyone has any advice for someone who is starting at the beginning, it will be greatly appreciated. Look forward to interacting with you all!
