Newbie in Florida & Atlanta

Posted

Hi Everyone, I'm Lisha and I'm a 4th year med student originally from Florida who wants to start investing in real estate. I'd love to buy and hold multifamily rental properties as a way to create passive income during my residency and fellowship training. My goal is to acquire at least 1 multifamily property in 1 year and build up to $5,000 in passive income per month in the next 5 years. My target market is Atlanta, GA (as I have family there) and love the areas of upper midtown in Fulton county. Do you all have any general advice, networks, meet-ups, and businesses in the area that would be great for me to get started?

Thanks in advance!
