Salary or Commission for new Licensee

Hello everyone. I passed my real estate exam Sunday, June 4 and was wondering which brokers in the Baltimore and Washington DC area pay salary and not a commission. I have asked professionals in the business around my neighboorhood and they have told me to go salary when looking for a broker when I am first starting out in real estate. I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter. Thank you.
