Hello,
I just found this site. Looks pretty good.
My Realestate partner and I work the PalmSprings area(about 50 mi.radius). For those of you that dont know this area I'd like you to know this is a nice area with lots of snow and rainbirds when things cool off elsewhere.
Check the winter temperatures at any weather site eg weather.com
Lots of homes on the market beween Salton Sea and PalmSprings (AKA Cochella Valley) More of a buyers market as you've probably heard
Elevation is Sea Level in Indio to abt 500 ft near PalmSprings. Temps are about 80-90 degrees now Nov 4. Summers are something esle.
Land still cheap (for SouthernCalifornia) in nearby DesertHotSprings .( 5 miles N.of PalmSprings)
Prices are even better just North of DHS. Here, one enters the high desert(3000-3500 ft) in about 5-10 miles Temps now are 65 at night and 75-85 during day at my cabin in Nov .(3500 ft )
If interested in learning more email my partner, Linda at [email protected] as I will be in LA off and on for a while.
