Newbie from the Washington, DC Area

Hello BP World! My name is Kyle Jiron and I currently live in the Washington, DC area. I recently found the Bigger Pockets world after reading Brandon's book "The Book on Rental Property Investing" and have been hooked on real estate investing ever since! I'm currently working in project management for a commercial general contractor in the downtown DC area. Real estate investing had always been a thought in the back of my mind, but with the knowledge in the BP community I will be able to bring those thoughts to life. 

My goals for the next year are to be a sponge and soak up as much information from the BP world, put together a business/action plan and make my first investment. I'm still a newbie and have quite a bit to learn, but I am targeting investment opportunities in the Maryland, Washington DC and Buffalo NY areas. I look forward to connecting and sharing with you all!

Listening to BP Podcasts and reading recommended books will certainly change your way of thinking. Brandon’s book on investing with no and low money down is a good one, along with millionaire real estate investor and the one thing.
