Newbie from Bronx NYC
Hello, My name is Jessica and I am an RN living and working in NYC. I am looking to 'house hack' as a means to beginning my real estate investment journey. Right now I'm trying to learn as much as I can but, admittedly, it is a bit overwhelming because there are so many different fields to look into!
I'm hoping to connect with like minded individuals whom I can learn from and possibly do business with in the future.
I cant recall exactly how I came upon bigger pockets, but I am so glad I did!

Welcome! This site is great for resources when it comes to real estate investing and building your network. Be sure to check the real estate events and happenings page for local meetups. The Bronx is a hot borough and you have to have patience when looking for a multifamily. I bought my 2 family in the Bronx in 2013 using FHA and refinanced out of PMI to reduce the payment amount.
