Hello there Bigger Pockets community!

My name is Marcus and I am a 21 year old student at UCSB! I have always had a love for well designed homes, especially nice kitchens haha. My also has used to be a real estate agent but sadly is not anymore. So throughout my life I have always had the idea of getting into real estate in the back of my mind. My friend recommended me to this page and I was amazed at amount of information available. I just finished reading through the Ultimate Beginner's Guide but am going to go back and reread everything again along with the articles recommended to truly get a better understanding and to educate myself before starting to invest. I want to get started in wholesaling and get good at that before hopefully moving onto buy and rehabbing homes. I brought up the idea to my mom and she said it wouldn't be a bad idea to get my Real Estate license since it could possibly help me throughout my career even if I'm just wholesaling and/or buying and rehabbing. I just wanted a second opinion from anybody since I was planning on studying for it and hopefully taking my exam this summer before I start school again in the Fall.

Greatly appreciated,

Marcus
