Property Manager Certificate - yay or nay

Hi All,

I am learning about rental properties and want to give myself the best base of knowledge to start off with. My  background is in city planning, which I also hold a masters for. I have worked most of career assessing the development of communities ( demographics, growth trends, amenity development, socioeconomic profiles, zoning, bylaw and the list goes on). I was curious if it's worth my time to get a certification in property management as that seems to be a big blank spot in my mind. Thanks for comments! Let me know what you think.
