Repatriating to Houston! Looking to jump right in :)

Hey all! My name is Brianna Jackson and I'm originally from Erie, Pa. I attended school in Pittsburgh, Pa where I lived for approximately 6 years before relocating to Jonesboro, GA (south of ATL) after graduation. After living there for about 1.5 years I took an awesome opportunity to be a school counselor in Kuwait (located in the middle east :) ). Though I've loved my time in Kuwait and have been able to save save save...I am currently finishing up my second school year and will be repatriating to Houston on July 1st...woot woot! I have always been interested in real estate as I watched my grandmother manage several properties as a child, but while here I finally decided to take the leap and get things started on my own. My ultimate goal is to build generational wealth and be as hands on as possible in acquiring and managing my real estate endeavors. I started my LLC, Interdependent Investments, LLC. in order to purchase and will be looking for multifamily units to start (but I'm open to other types of real estate). I would love to house hack as I am moving to a new city and want to take time to learn the city before I move into anything serious for myself. I am also open to flipping and possibly wholesaling, but my primary desire is buying and holding.

I have also served in the Army Reserves for approximately 10 years (I am currently still in (IRR) and will be reenlisting once I return) so, if anyone is familiar with using the VA Loan or just would like to chat about military life...let's connect! I was thinking about transferring to the AirForce.....should I stay where I am? LOL
