Hello World - My First Post

I ended up here randomly. While catching up with an online gaming buddy I haven't spoken to in 5 years, he mentioned this website and podcast. I have since watched a couple podcast episodes, and started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and the Ultimate Beginners Guide. Right now my wife and I both work full-time. We own a house, and I solely manage our stocks/options portfolio.

So far I like the idea of REI, but my first hurdle will be convincing my wife. I've mentioned flipping in the past, but of course she shuts me down because we're going to lose all our money, we don't know how to fix anything ourselves, and contractors are too expensive. I'm researching BRRRR now but I expect she would reject that idea too for the same reasons. We shall see.
