Allow Me To Introduce Myself

I've been waiting for the right time to do my intro for BP, but I realized there's no better time than now. I'm new to real estate, but driven to succeed. Currently I'm still educating myself about real estate and the avenue(s) I intend to pursue within the next few years. I work in commercial construction as a carpenter, but I want to make the move to residential sooner than later. I believe flipping is going to be my focus but I'm not against rentals, actually I intend to do a little bit of both. I found Bigger Pockets in February, from a friend, which sparked my interest in real estate. I've read a few books, but i enjoy listening to the podcasts. I'm not quite up to date with the newest episodes, because I felt it was only right to start at the beginning. I also try to attend some webinars when I can. At the moment I'm hoping a partnership I have lined up, goes through for me to do the rehab for a condo a friends family owns, that they plan to sell. Hopefully this will give me some learning experience in the field, and help me verify my strategy will help me succeed. I'm looking forward to getting involved with the BP community as well, and even meeting other members in my area.
