Earnest money stolen - Best way to get the cash to save the deal

Posted

Hi,

I have purchased 6 houses prior to going in to Escrow on a 2.5 acre with a house residential property in Winchester, CA on the border of Temecula, CA (new wine country in Socalif).

My Earnest money was stolen and I am trying to find an investor or an organization that I can get a short term loan until the bank finishes their investigation etc. and SAVE THE DEAL/PROPERTY.  Any ideas are welcome - this is URGENT!

Thank you!

Hi Valerie,

Just switch to a higher LTV option, close as scheduled, find the money, put it back into the property, and refinance into your original financing that you had lined up.
