Hey BP, my name is Colby and I’m looking to get into the buy and hold game. I’ve been on the site for a little over a year now consuming all the info I can and I think I’m getting pretty close to being ready to do my first deal. I’m 27 right now and my ultimate goal is to retire as early as possible. I have limited start up funds so house hacking would be the most ideal way to jump in, however I’m not super hopeful about finding a deal on the mls given the current state of the Spokane market. I would like to network with some other local investors and/or real estate agents in an effort to make some connections in the industry and maybe open the way for a future partnership. I feel like my biggest gap in knowledge at the moment has to do with the rehab process, specifically estimating costs and managing the project. So if there is anybody in town running a rehab, I would be more than happy to help out any way I can in exchange for a peek into your operation. Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from some of you!
