Young New Real Estate Investor

Ryne Pope
  • Fayetteville, AR
Posted

Hi All,

My name is Ryne Pope and I am new to the BP family. I've listen to numerous podcast and have a number of the books written by the BP staff. Just like many others I was bit by the Rich Dad Poor Dad bug at the beginning of 2017. Since then I have taken in a lot of knowledge on the subject of real estate, and I believe I'm ready to start networking with other investors in my area.

I'm looking for other local investors to meet up with and learn the game and the area from a real estate perspective. I'm intrigued by wholesaling, house flipping, with my eventual goal being to own a portfolio of cash flowing rental properties. I've been in Northwest Arkansas about 9 years and could help other investor with my knowledge of the area. Looking to soak up as much information as possible, but I also want to get my hands dirty and learn the business. Look forward to meeting with you all.

Ryne

Welcome to the site Ryne. Let me shoot a pro tip at you. As a young dude you probably don't have much cash in the bank. The 1st thing you should look into is getting licensed as an agent. All wholesaling is viewed as is unsophisticated & often illegal brokering of real estate.

You'll be able to provide value to investors while earning a paycheck......

Learn while you Earn.

Essentially being an agent will make you a much better investor down the road when you are ready to started making all that money you made as an agent work for you. This is what I did. By the time I had my 30th birthday last year I dad a $50M+ portfolio which was a mix of personal investments as well as 3rd party management for other clients....Can't do this without a license. That thing is like a license to print money if used correctly.

Again welcome aboard & I'd imagine i'll see you around the forums as you'll wanna become very active around here. Once you become an agent, investor & build up your personal brand around here on Bigger Pockets the networking & opportunities that will come your way will shock you. 💸💸💸
