New to Bigger Pockets Hampton Roads Virginia

Hello Bigger Pockets family. Incredibly happy to be here. I'm a single dad and devoted father, been in the contracting business for 10+ years and have recently made the transition into REI. I'm based out of Hampton Roads, specifically Virginia Beach and I'm looking to start attending some local REIA's and general networking with other investors, marketing professionals, Real Estate attorney, title companies, builders and contractors etc. I have built a strong network around me over the years just being around real estate, and gradually being around more and more investors.

So... a couple questions

1. outside of checking on meetup for local REIA's, are they any other means of finding local meetings?

2. I have built a pretty strong buyers list but always looking to search different platforms. Is there any suggestions how I might be able to do that here while following guidelines? 

3. is there 1 link with files on here such as phone scripts, lease option contracts, PA contracts etc? or do I need to just scan the posts?

Welcome!  Under the Tools Tab, you'll see Fileplace, where you can search for specific files others have uploaded.  I modified my rental application using them.
