Getting started in Central Wisconsin. Agent/Investor

Hey everyone!

I will be transitioning out of the Navy in August and relocating to the Wisconsin Dells area. While my degree is in Computer Engineer, my passion has always been dealing with the people I work with. This has led to me managing an office of 43 developers, project managers, etc. and briefing high level leadership.

Over the past year I've realized I want to move away from computers and use my networking skills to work in real estate. I'm just getting started with generating leads for an agent friend of mine in the area and he has agreed to give me a split of his leads as well as mentor me along the way. He's become incredibly successful in a couple short years.

In addition, I will be purchasing a home on my GI Bill when I move back and hoping to find something that requires some quick renovation work. After I've familiarized myself with all of that I am going to begin looking at multi-family units throughout Central Wisconsin, as well as the Twin Cities area.

While in the Navy I have developed a small Web Design business on the side. I've learned quite a bit about running a small business, marketing, and generating leads through that. I've truly enjoyed the building relationships aspects of this, and hope that will ultimately lead to success in real estate. If anyone would like to connect on LinkedIn let me know!
