Getting the ball rolling in Hawaii!

Hey BP!!!  Excited to dive into the forums!  I've been devouring the podcast for the last two weeks and it's reinvigorated my path in real estate!

My first plunge into real estate was a buy and hold Triplex in Utah we (wife and I) bought in 2013. It's cash flowed from day one and has been awesome overall.  We just finished up a messy eviction and intense remodel, but it's back up and running now.

We're under contract with our first Flip (with a money partner) here on the Big Island in Hawaii and hoping all the foreclosure hoops can be resolved soon.

My current plans are to keep flipping to build up some cash and then start moving to more buy and hold rentals.

I'm happy to give input on anything I have experience in and I've already got a load of things I'm looking for input on.  Thanks!!

Have you looked into commercial multifamily (5+ units) for more leverage? I syndicate mid- to large size multifamily properties with private equity investors. Keep in touch.
