New to BiggerPockets and real estate investing in Yakima county

Hi, all. My name is Brendon Lindsey and I'm new around these parts.

Although I live in the Portland area, I'll be working with my brother in law to remodel properties in Yakima, WA and the surrounding regions.

I'm relatively new to the real estate scene (although like many I've previously read a ton of books, listened to podcasts, and fixed up my own houses) so I'm looking forward to learning more in the community.

Prior to this I spent the last 10+ years as a marketing executive in the video game industry handling titles in the US, China, EU, and Japan. On the side I'm also running my own agency for digital marketing and PR (Tellya Communications). I've been coming up with some ideas on how to combine those years of experience and tactics with real estate, so it should be fun!
