How To Find Investors In Your Area

Hi,

I am 20 years old and wanting to get started investing or wholesaling real estate. I have read many contradicting forums and articles about where I should start, but both come back to getting educated. This is my first post on BiggerPockets and I was wondering where to find local investors that I could potentially take to lunch/dinner in exchange for a hour or so of their time to talk about real estate investing. Would love to hear what everyone has to say! I am also located in the Cookeville, Tennessee, area.
