Intro: New member in Dallas, TX. A friend of mine got me hooked on the podcasts so I’ve been churning through those over the past few months from 2013 fwd. Absolute convinced real estate is the long term answer to financial security. Professional background: Graduated college in 2010 spent 5 years in the management consulting industry at Accenture in DC area and I’ve been working for a healthcare startup since 2015 here in Dallas. I travel 50%. What am I looking for: I’m looking to learn as much as I can. I’d love to find a mentor here in Dallas needs some hands on deck to do grunt work, stuff envelopes, run errands etc. My main concern right now is being inexperienced and jumping into a market like Dallas which is very very hot right now. If anyone has insight into a first buyandhold that wasn’t geographically close to them, I’d love to hear. Thank you all for reading. -Joe
