Newb Investor in Austin, Texas

Hi All,

Another newb posting. I purchased a home a year ago here in Austin (turns out paying full boat on new construction is not a very good investment strategy) and am now trying to learn everything I can to get into investment properties.

Currently, when not working my day job I'm spending 1 hour a day listening to BP podcasts on my commute, 1 hour a day reading real estate books and an hour evaluating every property my agents send my way. My goal is to have my first investment deal by the end of July.

Any tips or networking opportunities are welcome & greatly appreciated.

Hope everybody is well,

Harrison Cook
