Hi everyone! Newish investor here from the DC Metro area looking to start my journey of building an REI portfolio that nets $10k a month (goal for now). Since I'm in the DC Metro area, and everything seems massively over-priced or at least cost prohibitive I'm looking at other markets for some distance investing - primarily Tampa, Atlanta and possibly Phoenix and Denver. Ultimately would love to get a bunch of multi-family units in one of these areas. By day I'm a technology/management consultant and by night someone who simply loves to learn, currently spending lots of time reading everything I can on the site and listening to all the podcasts!
