I just recently am getting the ball back rolling towards my REI career. I was fortunate to stumble upon Bigger Pockets yesterday and get the push I needed to get myself back into the game. I currently own 2 single family homes, one of which I am living in with my lovely girlfriend and the other being rented out. I am not afraid to admit that I really didn't know what I was doing when I purchased my first rental house, but got lucky and got a great deal on it and get a decent amount of cash flow from it. I am trying to learn as much as I can before making my next purchase because I know that getting lucky like I did probably will not happen again.

I am most interested in getting rental properties, but am also looking into fix and flips as well.
