Newbie from NYC - Brooklyn

Hey folks! Recently got put on to Bigger Pockets from a co worker. I’ve been working sales since I moved out from home. I’m in car sales now, and have always wanted to get into real estate. I’ve been listening to the podcasts, and have been wondering if there were any other individuals in the nyc metro doing real estate. Any REIAs I should know about ? Any pointers for a newbie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
